BARCELONA GO THREE POINTS CLEAR AT TOP OF LA LIGA AS MESSI AND SUAREZ STRIKES SEE THEM COME FROM BEHIND TO BEAT NINE-MAN ATLETICO
BARCELONA 2-1 ATLETICO MADRID - PETE JENSON AT THE NOU CAMP: Barcelona moved three points clear at the summit of La Liga with an explosive victory against nine-man Atletico Madrid. In a top-of-the-table clash, it was Atletico who took a deserved lead when Koke fired them ahead on 10 minutes. However, goals from Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez turned the match before half-time as Barca came from a goal to take the lead. And things got worse for Atleti before the break when Filipe Luis was shown a straight red card for an awful challenge on Messi. In the second half, Luis' dismissal was followed by Diego Godin's red card after he received a second yellow card for a challenge on Suarez.
